THE MAIN OBJECTIVES OF THE COURSE ARE TO PROVIDE KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE ABOUT

VARIOUS EFFECTS OF A BUILT ENVIRONMENT THROUGHOUT ITS WHOLE LIFE,

DIFFERENT DESIGN STRATEGIES,

CREATING AND EXPRESSING DESIGN DECISIONS
IN A PRACTICAL LEARNING ENVIRONMENT WITH THE INTENTION OF CONSTITUTING A BASE FOR STUDENTS OF ARCHITECTURE TO GAIN AN EFFECTIVE INTELLECTUAL PROCESS BETWEEN DETERMINING PROBLEMS AND DEVELOPING COMPREHENSIVE SOLUTIONS.
WEEKLY SCHEDULE
IN ACCORDANCE WITH APPOINTED ORGANIZATION, THE COURSE IS STRUCTURED OVER A SERIOUS OF INTERDEPENDENT TOPICS WITH LECTURE, RESEARCH AND WORKSHOP SESSIONS WHERE PARTICIPANTS CAN EMBRACE AND INTERNALIZE KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCES RELEVANT TO THEIR EFFORTS. IN THE STUDIO, PARTICIPANTS CAN WORK INDIVIDUALLY OR IN SMALL GROUPS TO DEVELOP ARCHITECTURAL SOLUTIONS IN A CERTAIN CONTEXT OF A PREDETERMINED DESIGN PROBLEM. GROUP WORK CAN BE PREFERRED CONSIDERING MUTUAL BENEFITS OF CO-WORKING THROUGH PROPER COMMUNICATION AND DISCUSSION WHERE NEW PERSPECTIVES CAN BE GENERATED AND OUTCOMES CAN BE SHARED IN OR BETWEEN GROUPS.

GRADING
STUDIES AND PRODUCTIONS OF PARTICIPANTS WILL BE EVALUATED BY A MIDTERM AND A FINAL SUBMISSION + JURY IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE ASSESSMENT SYSTEM EXPLAINED IN THE COURSE INFORMATION. TRANSCRIPT GRADE WILL BE DETERMINED DEPENDING ON THE QUALITY OF INDIVIDUAL AND GROUP PRODUCTIONS AND PERSONAL EFFICIENCY, EFFORT AND IMPROVEMENT DURING WORKSHOPS. REQUIREMENTS ABOUT THE PRESENTATIONS AND SUBMISSIONS WILL BE ANNOUNCED IN ADVANCE.
